He linked up well with Thomas Muller to create the first goal for Joshua Kimmich. Lewandowski himself got on the scoresheet. He was in the right position for both goals he scored in this game, taking his tally to 33 goals in the Bundesliga this season.

Kingsley Coman slotted on the left flank when he came on for Sarpreet Singh in the second half. The French winger was lively in the final third, creating all sorts of problems for Freiburg’s defense. He came close to scoring in the dying minutes of the game when his powerful shot shattered the crossbar.

FWD, Joshua Zirkzee — 7/10

Joshua Zirkzee had a different role to play when he came on in the final quarter of the game. He played on the right flank and provided the width by hugging the touchline. The teenager had a couple of good shots from outside the box.

Richards came on for the final five minutes of the game, making his debut for the senior. He slotted in central defense besides Jerome Boateng. The teenage defender got the taste of playing at the senior level, one player to watch out in the future.

Musiala finally got his debut with the senior team after being included in the matchday squad for a couple of games. The teenager hardly had time to make an impact, but this will be a great experience for him.
