Arjen Robben- Wizard on right flank for Bayern Munich
The other half of the famous partnership Robbery joined Die Roten in 2009. Arjen Robben was brought to the club by Louis Van Gaal for a reported €25 million from Real Madrid. The Dutch winger had to leave the Spanish giants after they spent heavily to sign Cristiano Ronaldo, Karim Benzema, and Kaka.
Madrid’s loss turned out to be Die Roten’s gain. Robben went on to become one of the best foreign players to don the Bavarian shirt. Robben provided guaranteed entertainment with his trickery on the right flank. His trademark move involved cutting inside and then curling it past the keeper. He used the same trick every time; opposition knew what to expect, but they couldn’t do anything to stop it.
