Bayern Munich forwards show improvement
FWD, Kingsley Coman — 8/10
Finally, Kingsley Coman scored a Bundesliga goal. The French winger showed great composure to score the equalizer for Die Roten. Coman looked bright throughout the game, taking on players and making the right decisions in the final third. He looked even better when he moved to the right-hand side midway through the first half. It was an important goal for Coman. He needs to build on this performance and become more consistent.

FWD, Thomas Muller — 8/10
Muller continues to show his importance in the final third. His work ethic remains top class, and the amount of creativity he brings in the final third is incredible. The German showed great awareness to square the ball for Goretzka’s goal. His cross for Lewandowski’s goal was a thing of beauty. Muller currently has 20 assists in the Bundesliga. He is set to miss next weekend’s game against Borussia Monchengladbach, but there are still three league games to beat Kevin De Bruyne’s record of 21 assists in one season.
FWD, Serge Gnabry — 8/10
Gnabry had found back his mojo against Fortuna Dusseldorf after a quiet return to football. The German winger got better against Leverkusen as he scored 12th league goal of the season. Gnabry was relentless in the final third as he made dangerous runs in the channels. The German international could have got a brace as he fluffed a big chance in the second half. Nevertheless, a solid performance from Gnabry.
