Opposition Focus

Eintracht Frankfurt were ruthless against Die Roten when they met in October. They created chances from the word go, which eventually led to the dismissal of Boateng. After his sending off, Frankfurt grew further in the game and hit Bayern on the counter with great effect.

The form table doesn’t paint a good picture for Frankfurt, but their approach is likely to be the same when they face Die Roten on Saturday. Adolf Hutter will be relying on quick counter-attacks to come away with a positive result from Allianz Arena.

Filip Kostic will be the key man in the attack for the visitors. The Serbian winger has been the main creator for Frankfurt, racking up eight assists in the Bundesliga. Frankfurt will have to find him quickly to make sure that strikers get good chances in the box. (Stats Courtesy: Whoscored)

Bas Dost will be leading the line for Frankfurt on Saturday. The Dutchman has not been prolific this season, scoring only five goals in the league. However, Dost is a very reliable number nine, so one can expect him to be decisive in key moments. Die Roten are massive favourites, but Frankfurt have enough quality to come up with a shock result.

Score Prediction

Bayern Munich 3-0 Eintracht Frankfurt

Bayern were not at their best last weekend, but they are likely to be much better on Saturday, after getting more team training sessions. Frankfurt are in between a bad run of form, so it could get ugly for them and a comfortable victory for hosts.
