Bayern Munich should be careful while sanctioning a loan transfer for Christian Fruchtl as he continues to be linked with a move in summer.

There are going to be quite a few players that may leave in Bayern Munich in summer for getting regular playing time. Some senior players are likely to leave permanently, while young players from the reserves would leave temporarily on loan.

Christian Fruchtl is one of the young players that may have a future away from the club for the time being. The German goalkeeper has been part of the first-team setup for the last three seasons, but he is yet to make his debut for the senior team.

According to Kicker, Fruchtl is on the transfer list of SC Paderborn in summer. The German club will be looking to sign the young German goalkeeper if they decide to improve their options in the goalkeeping department. He has been previously linked with FC Augsburg.

Die Roten currently have Manuel Neuer and Sven Ulreich as their top two goalkeeping options in the first team. The club has already announced the arrival of Alexander Nubel from FC Schalke. Nubel will join the club in July when his contract with Schalke will expire.

Hansi Flick has confirmed that Neuer will be the first-choice goalkeeper next season, making Nubel as his deputy. If Ulreich decides to stay at the club, then he is likely to be third in the pecking order. Fruchtl will be out of the equation for a place in the squad due to these developments.

The 20-year-old goalkeeper has featured regularly for the reserves team. Fruchtl has shone for the junior team and looks ready to take the next step in his career. A loan move is generally the next step for a youth player to get the taste of professional football at the top level if there are limited chances at the parent club.

Die Roten needs to choose the right club for Fruchtl’s loan move. A poor loan spell where the player struggles to get regular playing time can have a very negative impact on the player’s career. It can dent his confidence and reduces the chances of making at the beloved/parent club.

As long as Fruchtl gets consistent playing time, even a loan move to 2. Bundesliga will be fine next season. Rekordmeister has seen the impact of a good loan spell on Adrian Fein. The young midfielder is reportedly going to get a chance to feature in first-team plans next season after impressing for Hamburg. A similar type of loan move should be on Bayern’s agenda when Fructl decides to temporarily leave the club in summer.
