Bayern Munich: Inter Milan want to sign Corentin Tolisso on one condition
Bayern Munich midfielder Corentin Tolisso could move to Inter Milan only when one condition is met in summer.
There are going to be a few departures at Bayern Munich in summer. A couple of senior players will be entering the final year of their contracts, so the club will be open to listening offers for them. Apart from these senior players, Rekordmeister may sell players that are surplus to their requirements.
Corentin Tolisso could end up leaving the club in summer as he is no longer a regular member of the starting XI. The French midfielder has been previously linked with a move to Italy. Inter Milan has been reported as one of the interested clubs in the central midfielder.
According to Calicomercato, Inter is interested in signing Tolisso as Antonio Conte is a big fan of the player. However, the Italian club will negotiate a transfer for Tolisso only when Ivan Perisic permanently moves to Bavaria in summer.
The recent reports in Germany hint that Die Roten is eager to make Perisic’s move permanent. Karl-Heinz Rummenigge admitted that the club is yet to decide on the Croatian winger’s future while few reports insist that Rekordmeister will try to negotiate down a fee less than what Inter wanted last summer.

If these developments regarding Perisic are true, then Tolisso’s move to Inter could be a smooth transfer rather than being a long drawn saga. The French midfielder has previously admitted that he is ready to fight for a place in the starting XI. However, he has started only two games since winter break.
Things would have been completely different for Tolisso if he hadn’t suffered a serious knee injury last season. The Frenchman enjoyed a terrific debut season and went on to feature for France in the 2018 World Cup. However, the injury halted his progress, and he is yet to replicate his previous performances since recovering from the injury.
Die Roten had signed Tolisso for €42 million in 2017, which was then a club-record fee. The German club will be looking to recoup something close to that fee in summer. Tolisso still has prime years of his career ahead of him, so Bayern should demand a sizeable transfer fee.
Rekordmeister can explore numerous options to fill the void left by Tolisso in summer. The French midfielder can go on to become one of the top midfielders in Europe, but that is looking unlikely to happen with Die Roten. A move away from Bavaria is likely to be a favourable outcome for all the parties involved.
