Bayern Munich have reportedly added another forward to their reserves team for next season.
The recruitment at the youth level has been impressive for Bayern Munich in the past couple of transfer windows. Die Roten are once again focussing on improving the youth teams, a move that will eventually benefit the first team.
The defending Bundesliga champions have added another forward to young German talent to their youth team squad. According to Sport1, Die Roten has completed the signing of Armindo Sieb from Hoffenheim.
The report insists that Sieb completed his medical at Bayern and will join the club in summer on a free transfer. The 17-year-old German can play anywhere across the front three. Sieb has been playing with Hoffenheim’s U-17 squad this season. The teenager has contributed to 15 goals in 15 games for the youth team. (Stats Courtesy: Transfermarkt)
Hoffenheim has been furious with the way Die Roten conducted the formalities without their consent to sign Sieb. However, the club respects the decision of the player despite him having a much clear path to the first team at Hoffenheim.

Sieb may join the likes Sarpreet Singh and Leon Dajaku in the reserves team. The latter two arrived at the club last summer and have heavily feature for the youth team under Sebastian Hoeness. Singh and Dajaku have also got first-team opportunities under Hansi Flick.
The transfer market is going to be severely affected due to the coronavirus pandemic. In such a situation, signing young players could prove to be an effective strategy to build a team for the future. Die Roten have a perfect coach in Hansi Flick that believes in giving young players a chance in the first team.
The onus is on Bayern to come up with a perfect roadmap to the first team for these young players. A solid loan system will allow these players to get playing time at the senior level if they are struggling to get it in Bavaria. Adrian Fein is the prime example of good loan decisions. The German midfielder has excelled at Hamburg, helping him to get a chance in the first team next season.
Apart from the signing of Seib, there has been another big news regarding youth teams at Die Roten. Bild reported on Thursday that Miroslav Klose has agreed to become the assistant coach of the first team. Klose has been managing the U-17 squad for the past two seasons at the club.
