Kimmich’s sweet strike against Tottenham Hotspurs
After a hapless performance against Liverpool last season in the round of 16, Die Roten needed a statement win in the Champions League. They had the perfect opportunity in the group stage as Die Roten were drawn against Tottenham Hotspurs in the group stage.
Rekordmeister went at the hostile turf in October and smashed seven goals past last season’s runners up. Serge Gnabry scored four in the game and took the man of the match award. However, Joshua Kimmich should be taking the award for scoring the best goal of the game.

The German midfielder nonchalantly deposited the ball into the net. The technique for the goal was exquisite as Kimmich effortlessly passed the ball into the goal. Since the goal brought Bayern back into the game, it had much more significance. Kimmich showed the same amount of composure to score the goal as he does while dictating the play from the number six position.
