Mickael Cuisance
Renato Sanches was frustrated during Niko Kovac’s first season at Bayern due to lack of playing time. Kovac vetoed against the departure of Portuguese midfielder in 2017. However, Sanches didn’t get regular playing time, and he forced a move to Lille in 2018.
After the departure of Sanches, Die Roten moved quickly to sign a replacement for him. The club agreed on a transfer fee with Borussia Monchengladbach for young midfielder Mickael Cuisance. The French midfielder had been one of the impressive young midfielders in the Bundesliga.
Cuisance forced a move to Bavaria, but things have not gone well at the new club for the French midfielder. He has struggled to get playing time under Hansi Flick and Kovac. Hasan Salihamidzic insisted that Cuisance is a signing for the future, and his time in the first team will come soon as the young midfielder is doing the right things in training.
The French midfielder has featured four times for the senior team at Bayern. Cuisance has been part of the matchday squads, so he has not played a lot for the reserves team too. There have been reports suggesting that Cuisance may go on loan next season, but the midfielder is reportedly ready to fight for a place in the team. Overall, it has been a disappointing campaign, but Cuisance can turn out to be a bargain signing in the future.
