Mickael Cuisance has no plans to leave Bayern Munich
Mickael Cuisance is reportedly eager to establish himself as an important player at Bayern Munich.
Bayern Munich have struggled to manage young midfielders in the past few seasons. Renato Sanches joined the club from Benfica with so much promise, but he struggled to establish himself in Bavaria. He didn’t get the desired amount of playing time to continue his development. Sanches’ replacement- Mickael Cuisance, is also going through the same thing at the moment.
Cuisance moved to Bavaria from Borussia Monchengladbach in summer. Die Roten quickly moved in the market to sign a midfielder when Sanches sealed a move to Lille. However, things have not gone Cuisance’s way at Bayern as he has struggled to get playing time with the first team.
Earlier this week, Gazzetta Dello Sport (via Football Italia) reported that AC Milan is interested in signing Cuisance in the summer transfer window. This report insisted that Milan believes that Cuisance fits the profile of a young midfield player they want, and one of the club scouts is a big fan of the player.
However, Cuisance looks determined to fulfill his potential at Bayern. According to TZ’s Manuel Bonko, Cuisance has no plans to leave Bavaria, and the club is also not eager to listen to offers for the young midfielder.

Cuisance has managed only three appearances with the senior team. He has been part of matchday squads but didn’t get playing time. Hasan Salihamidzic has previously insisted that the club is pleased with Cuisance’s work in training, and he has a bright future at the club.
There is no doubt Cuisance has the talent to become a top midfielder for Die Roten, but his development needs to be managed properly. The club should find a way that the French midfielder gets decent playing time next season. With the departure of Corentin Tolisso on cards, Cuisance may get more playing time.
If Die Roten go on to sign a replacement for Tolisso, then they should sort out a solid loan move for Cuisance. A good loan move could act as a stepping stone for Cuisance to become a regular for Rekordmeister. The club failed to do it with Sanches but achieved success with Adrian Fein, so they should try to loan him to a fellow Bundesliga club rather than sending him to a new league.
Cuisance delivered impressive performances with Monchengladbach in the last two seasons. Hopefully, soon he gets a chance to show his talent for Rekordmeister. At the moment, things are not going his way, but sooner rather than later, the French midfielder will deliver if the club shows patience with him.
