Inter Milan is reportedly weighing up a swap deal with Bayern Munich in the summer transfer window.

Bayern Munich have been the talking point regarding transfers in Germany over the past few days. The Bundesliga champions are likely to revise their plans as the coronavirus pandemic is set to have a negative impact on the finances of all clubs across Europe.

Die Roten are reportedly going to offload at least one star player if you go by reports in Germany. Corentin Tolisso has emerged as the player that could be allowed to leave, helping Rekordmeister to make space for new signings.

Tolisso has been linked with numerous Italian clubs this month. The French midfielder was very close to joining before moving to Bavaria in 2017. In the upcoming summer transfer window, a  move to Italy looks likely to be the best outcome for the player.

Inter Milan is one of the top Italian clubs that are interested in signing Tolisso. According to Tuttosport (via fcinternews.it), Inter wants to propose a swap deal to the German club that will involve Tolisso and Perisic. The Italian club will also offer a little amount of cash in this deal, considering the transfer values of both players are different.

More from Bayern Strikes

Die Roten reportedly want to sign Perisic permanently in summer. The Croatian winger moved to Bavaria on a one-year loan deal last summer, with the German club having the option to sign him permanently for a reported €20 million fee.

A swap deal will surely favour Inter, but Bayern will also benefit from the deal if they manage to squeeze €30 million from the Italian club for Tolisso. There is no point in selling Tolisso to Inter for any fee less than that along with getting Perisic in return as the Frenchman is still 25 and is yet to enter prime years of his career.

Ideally,  Die Roten would like to have a bidding war for Tolisso to get a big fee for the midfielder. Manchester United was reportedly interested in signing Tolisso during the winter transfer window. Interest from Premier League clubs along with Serie A clubs will help Rekordmiester to secure a very big fee for the French midfielder.

Perisic is likely to be a squad player for Bayern next season, so no point getting him in a swap deal for one of their talented young midfielders. Tolisso is yet to comment on these reports, but a move away from Bavaria is looking likely with every passing day.
