Lothar Matthaus urges Dortmund star to join Bayern Munich
Lothar Matthaus urges Jadon Sancho to make a controversial move this summer and join Bayern Munich.
Bayern Munich are looking to bolster the squad in summer by signing at least top-class wide forward. The defending Bundesliga champions were eager to improve their attack last summer, but couldn’t land their first choice targets.
Since Philippe Coutinho and Ivan Perisic have struggled to impress, Die Roten is unlikely to take up the option to sign both of them. There are few reports in Italy suggesting that Perisic will permanently move to Bavaria, but Coutinho surely has zero chance to complete the move due to a high transfer fee.
Leroy Sane looks like the top transfer target for Rekordmeister in the summer window. The German winger’s move to Bavaria collapsed last summer after he suffered a serious injury at the start of the season. Barcelona and Real Madrid have recently come into the picture for Sane as he enters the final year of his contract at Man City.
Apart from Sane, Bayern have also been linked with numerous wingers. Lothar Matthaus believes that Jadon Sancho is the perfect fit for Die Roten. Speaking to Sky Sports (via One Football), Matthaus urged Sancho to reject advances from the Premier League clubs and join Bayern.

Sancho has been linked with Rekordmeister only once, but he can surely be an incredible signing for the record German champions. The English winger had a breakthrough season with Dortmund last season. He started slowly this campaign but slowly picked up and currently has the best numbers for a winger in the league.
The former Manchester City winger has 14 goals and 15 assists to his name in the Bundesliga. He is a very well rounded winger, having a knack of scoring goals along with creating them for his teammates.
