Serge Gnabry

Lewandowski has scored the most goals for Die Roten this season. His goal tally is mindboggling and is unlikely to be matched by any other forward. However, Serge Gnabry has complemented the Polish striker to perfection by consistently chipping in with goals.

Gnabry enjoyed a very good debut season with Bayern. He was determined to take his game to the next level after such a promising campaign. Despite his determination, Gnabry had a slow start to the campaign. He slowly gained momentum and started scoring consistently for Rekordmeister.

The German winger has been Bayern’s key man in big European games this season. He scored four goals in a single game against Spurs in October. Gnabry’s second trip to London was also eventful as he scored a brace against Chelsea in the first leg of the round of 16 tie of the Champions League.

Gnabry is on course to have the best season of his career, but the knack of scoring against big teams in the biggest takeaway for him this season. Die Roten need more additions in the attacking department, but Gnabry has done well to fill the void left by Arjen Robben and Frack Ribery in big games.
