Bayern Munich midfielder Corentin Tolisso is reportedly attracting interest from a host of Italian clubs.
Despite the current uncertainty surrounding the completion of the 2019/20 season, Bayern Munich are likely to be busy in the summer transfer window. The defending German champions are expected to add more quality to the squad after improving options in defense last summer.
The arrival of new signings may lead to some departures from the current squad. Corentin Tolisso is likely to be the most high profile departure from Bavaria this summer. The German club is reportedly ready to listen to offers for the French midfielder.
Italy could turn out to be Tolisso’s next destination. According to Le10sport, Juventus and Napoli are interested in signing the French international. This report also insists that Tolisso is likely to cost excess of €35 million in summer.
Juventus and Napoli are not the only Italian clubs linked with a move for Tolisso. According to Gazzetta Dello Sport, Inter Milan are also interested in bringing Tolisso to Italy. The fee mentioned by the Italian outlet is similar to the one mentioned by Le10sport.

Tolisso has fallen down in the pecking order at Bayern. The French midfielder has been an option from the bench for Hansi Flick in Ruckrunde. Tolisso has insisted that he is eager to fight for a place in the starting XI. However, he may be forced to assess his options in summer if the situation doesn’t improve.
The French international became Bayern’s record transfer in 2017. He enjoyed a prolific debut campaign, providing much-needed goals from midfield. After winning the World Cup with France, Tolisso was expected to become an integral part of Die Roten’s plans going forward. He did start the 2018/19 campaign on a strong note, but a serious knee injury ruled him out for more than six months.
Tolisso’s recovery took a long time. The aftereffects of such injury are still visible as Tolisso is yet to hit the top form that made him one of the brightest midfield talents in Europe. The former Lyon midfielder may need a change of scenery to kickstart his career after an unfortunate series of events in the last 18 months.
Die Roten will be encouraged by the interest shown by numerous Italian clubs in Tolisso. Rekordmeister will be hoping to have a bidding war for the services of the French midfielder. If Premier League clubs come into the picture, then Die Roten may end up earning a profit on the player. It is a shame that things have not gone in the right direction for Tolisso at Bayern, but all parties may benefit from a transfer in summer.
