Should Bayern Munich appoint Hansi Flick as permanent manager?
Argument against Flick
Interim managers get the best out of players in the initial months, and then progress has stagnated once they get the permanent gig. Various clubs have seen this trend following over the year. The departure of a manager brings a bounce amongst players, and results continue to get better.
This could well be the situation in the case of Flick. It is possible, why not? Manchester United is the most recent example, where Ole Gunnar Solskjaer did brilliantly during his interim tenure last season, but results have been in a downward spiral since he took the job permanently.

Flick surely has shown that he is not all about just motivation by inculcating good tactical nuances to the team. Die Roten’s defensive line has gone slightly deeper, allowing them to stop being vulnerable to counter-attacks. However, he still has a long way to go as much tougher tests are yet to come.
The psychological aspect of the game is often neglected. The new manager bounce is surely a thing that aids the good results of a team when they sack a coach. Moreover, nothing is yet won by Bayern this season, so it will be too naive from the club to think about hiring Flick as their next manager.
