Jorginho vs  Thomas Muller

Since N’Golo Kante is set to miss the game on Tuesday, Chelsea’s deeper midfield player will be Jorginho. After a tough first season in Englan, the Italian midfielder has established himself as a key player for Frank Lampard.

Jorginho has a wide passing range, from small passes to diagonal balls on the flanks. The Italy international can break the lines with a single pass. His distribution has improved drastically after adapting to the rigorous Premier League last season.

More from Bayern Strikes

Thomas Muller will have the duty of upsetting the rhythm of Jorginho in center midfield. The German international has been in scintillating form under Flick. Along with Robert Lewandowski, he is expected to be the main man for Die Roten in the final third.

Muller will have the job to stretch the deeper midfield and defensive areas of Chelsea. If he manages to drag Jorginho out of position and disrupt his passing range, then Die Roten will be able to dictate the play in all parts of the pitch. Muller has been in fine form lately, but Jorginho is clever enough to read his runs, making it an exciting battle to watch on Tuesday.
