Bayern Munich resume DFB Pokal campaign against Hoffenheim
Predicted Starting XI
Flick has stuck with a consistent team composition in three Bundesliga games this year. The game against Hoffenheim allows him to rotate the squad. Manuel Neuer will continue to feature in the goal, though. Benjamin Pavard will move back in central defense and partner David Alaba in the heart of the defense. Alvaro Odriozola should make his debut while Alphonso Davies keeps his place in the starting XI.

In the midfield, I expect a couple of changes. Corentin Tolisso should get his first start of the year as a dynamic number eight. The Frenchman will be supported by the inform Thiago Alcantara in the midfield area. Joshua Kimmich will occupy the number six role and shield the defense from Hoffenheim forwards with his clever positional sense.
Flick may make a couple of changes in the attack. Gnabry should be expected to start in this game on the right flank. Thomas Muller may get a breather after playing all the three league games. Philippe Coutinho will replace the German forward and occupy the left flank. No rest for Robert Lewandowski as he looks to add more goals to his impressive tally this season.
