Predicted Starting XI
Flick has a thin squad for this game, but he should still be able to field a starting XI that can clinch all three points against Hertha Berlin. Manuel Neuer will start in the goal. The German goalkeeper will be guarded by a center defensive pairing of Jerome Boateng and David Alaba. Benjamin Pavard will slot in the right-back position, while Alphonso Davies continues in the left-back role.

Central midfield is the only area where Flick has many options at the moment. In the absence of Joshua Kimmich, Thiago Alcantara is likely to start in the number six position. Leon Goretzka will pair up with Thiago in the center of the park. The German will have the onus of being more dynamic in midfield and join attacks on a consistent basis.
Thomas Muller will have to play on the flank due to injuries to Gnabry and Coman. On the left flank, Ivan Perisic is likely to get another chance to impress. There are no prize for guessing the player for number ten role as Philippe Coutinho will be the only option in the squad. Meanwhile, Robert Lewandowski will lead the line for the visitors.
