Max Aarons

The third defender in this list is another Premier League full-back. Norwich City’s young full-back Max Aarons is an exciting young full-back that is struggling a bit in his debut Premier League campaign. The 20-year-old operates in the right-back position for Daniel Farke’s side.

Aarons had a productive campaign with Norwich last season. He was one of the key players for Farke, helping Norwich to gain promotion. He ended the season with two goals and six assists in the championship (Stats courtesy: Whoscored). Aarons has shown flashes of brilliance in his first season at top level and struggled to be more productive in the final third.

More from Bayern Strikes

Apart from playing in the right-back position, Aarons can also be deployed in the left-back position. His dribbling and lighting pace helps him in getting past players in the final third. Aarons has a diminutive stature, but that doesn’t make him any less competent while defending against robust wingers.

Bayern has been looking at English players in the last couple of windows, but yet to make any notable addition. Aarons is going through a difficult season, but he surely has the potential to be a top-class right-back. Since Norwich is likely to be relegated, Die Roten should try their luck by making a good bid this month to sign Aarons.
