Bayern clinch DFB Pokal against RB Leipzig
After the title win, Bayern had the chance to do a domestic double by winning the DFB Pokal, treble if you want to count the DFL Supercup. The final hurdle in DFB Pokal was an intriguing one as Julian Nagelsmann’s RB Leipzig side were unbeaten against Bayern in the league.
Leipzig conceded the least goals in the Bundesliga., so it was expected to be a tough counter. Many fans, including me, expected Leipzig to take the game deep into extra time.

Kovac’s men had other ideas for the game. Bayern were all pumped up after the league title win, and they maintained the same form in the final. They cruised to a 3-0 win against Leipzig by without breaking a sweat. A commanding display from every player made sure that RB Leipzig had any chance in the cup final.
The Croatian manager also became the first player to win domestic double as manager and player of Bayern Munich. He won every possible domestic trophy in his debut season, which eventually made sure that he got the chance to go into the second season as Bayern manager.
