Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has admitted that Bayern Munich will try to find a favorable solution for Renato Sanches.
Bayern Munich endured an indifferent start to the Bundesliga campaign. The German club was held for a 2-2 draw against Hertha Berlin at Allianz Arena. There was frustration amongst players after this result, but the most shocking response came from Renato Sanches.
The Portuguese midfielder vented his anger about getting only five minutes in the game while speaking to media in the mixed zone. Sanches once again reiterated his desire to leave Bayern to play regularly this season.
Sanches was reportedly fined by the club after venting his frustration in the media. Karl-Heinz Rummenigge was furious after this incident. He insisted that Sanches will get opportunities this season, but needs to remain patient.
However, Rummenigge has changed his tune on Sanches’ future after the arrivals of Mikael Cuisance and Philippe Coutinho. In an interview with Sky Sports, Rummenigge admitted that the club will try to find the right solution in Sanches.
"“Renato is a player who wants to play, of course. I have a bit of understanding. He came three years ago as Golden Boy, a highly decorated Portuguese European champion.”“Now he has lost his place in the national team and he wants to fight back now. Of course, he has to play and that will not be easy with us, especially now after Coutinho’s arrival.”"

Sanches was determined to seal a move away from Bayern at the end of last season. The Portugal international was loosely linked with a move to Fenerbahce. Paris Saint-Germain tried to sign him in January, but Bayern was not in a mood to sell a player in the winter transfer window.
Niko Kovac convinced Sanches to stay at Die Roten last summer. The Croatian manager failed to give him gametime last season but promised Sanches he will have a bigger role this season. However, the competition for a place in midfield has increased after the arrival of new players. Sanches will try to force a move in the final few days of the transfer window.
According to Sky Sports, Lille has shown interest in Sanches. However, the French club is yet to take any concrete steps to complete this transfer. Sanches will prefer a permanent transfer away from Bayern to kickstart his career. However, the German club rates him highly and might try to negotiate a loan deal with the interested clubs.
Sanches’ current contract at Bayern is set to expire in 2021. This summer is set to be last chance for Bayern to recoup the transfer fee as he is unlikely to sign a new deal. The 21-year-old midfielder has lost his way since joining Die Roten, so a move away from Germany might help him to kickstart his career.
