Bayern Munich is the best destination for Chelsea’s Callum Hudson-Odoi

With Christian Pulisic’s Chelsea move settled, Bayern Munich stand as the best destination for 18-year-old Callum Hudson-Odoi.
Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich aren’t the only suitors for Chelsea youngster Callum Hudson-Odoi, but the record German champions are the only ones to have already made two official bids for the highly sought-after Englishman.
Although the Londoners aren’t hell-bent on selling the 18-year-old, it’s the right price that has got the two clubs tied in a never-ending state of negotiations. With the Blues set to have Borussia Dortmund’s Christian Pulisic at their disposal next season, Bayern’s pursuit of the English forward could ease up.
The Bundesliga has become a highly favored shopping destination for top clubs in the Premier League. Roberto Firmino, Kevin de Bruyne and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang are some prime examples of high-profile players who completed big money moves to England in the past few years. The latest name to join an ever-expanding list of Bundesliga recruits is Pulisic, whose €64 million move to Chelsea was confirmed on Wednesday.

Pulisic’s arrival means Chelsea will have four out-and-out wing players available for the next season — including Hudson-Odoi, whose is reportedly reluctant to sign a new deal with the club considering their complicated “youngster’s policy.”
There isn’t a dearth of talent in Germany, but the Bundesliga is now looked at as an attractive destination for young promising talents across Europe to develop themselves — especially the forwards, considering the German too flight is more attack-minded than other top European leagues.
While Pulisic’s arrival at Chelsea further puts Hudson-Odoid down the pecking order, the imminent departures of Franck Ribery and Arjen Robben from Bayern next season gives the English prodigy a platform to truly express himself.
Hudson-Odoi has struggled for game-time at Stamford Bridge this season, despite the English football fraternity speaking so highly of his talent. While joining a fellow Premier League club also remains an option, the failures of Dominic Solanke, Wilfried Zaha, Ruben Loftus-Cheek on loan spells in the league is a lesson learned for every emerging English talent.
Meanwhile, the success achieved by both Jadon Sancho and Reiss Nelson in the Bundesliga has set-up the league as a more promising platform.
Although media reports suggest that other top European giants, including Real Madrid and Juventus, have also expressed interest in the attacker, the sheer balance of appropriate playing time, coaching staff and chances to win trophies, put Die Roten in a more promising position.
Although Madrid and Turin remain attractive destinations, the problems at these clubs remain the same as that with Chelsea.
