Bayern Munich have reportedly shown interest in signing teen sensation from Brazilian side Santos, where Neymar once played.
Bayern Munich are yet to open their account for the upcoming transfer window. The German Champions agreed a deal for Leon Goretzka in January, but his signature came for free. Goretzka will join Bayern next month when his contract expires at Schalke. Apart from that there has been a lot of speculation but nothing concrete about any incoming transfers at Bayern this summer.
While talking to ESPN Brasil, Santos president Jose Carlos Peres claimed that Bayern Munich are interested in signing his young player, Rodrygo. The teenage winger has been heavily linked with Real Madrid in the last couple of weeks. However, Peres is adamant that nothing is yet agreed and other clubs also interested in signing the teenager.
"“There are offers on the table, which we have looked at everything. We can not talk about the price, but the management has decided that we only sell when the clause is activated and we can not respond.“Real Madrid, Barcelona, Borussia Dortmund, Paris Saint-Germain, Bayern Munich are all interested.”"

Rodrygo has been a revelation for Santos this season. The numbers he has put up are excellent for a 17-year-old forward, as he has scored six goals and gained two assists in 17 appearances this season. Though Rodrygo can play anywhere across the front three, he is most effective on the left flank.
The Brazilian club wants a fee in the region of €50 million for Rodrygo. Real Madrid are reportedly ready to pay this price and the forward will probably join them in January. Bayern Munich might be interested in the player, but they are unlikely to break their record transfer for someone so young and inexperienced. Bayern’s reported interest is likely just a ploy from the Santos president to extract as much as possible from Real Madrid.
Bayern Munich have always maintained the stance that they are ready to pay big fees for young players, though. They broke their transfer fee record to sign Corentin Tolisso from Lyon last summer.
Rodrygo is tipped to be the face of the next generation of Brazilian soccer. However, it is a massive risk for any club to invest that amount in a 17-year-old. He is unlikely to go straight into the first team and could create an imbalance in the reserves.

The arrivals at Bayern Munich this summer are likely to depend on the departures. There have been numerous reports linking some of the big Bayern players away from the club. But Bayern Munich will probably wait to make their moves until the World Cup is over.
