Bayern Munich gear up to host RB Leipzig for the top of the table clash on Wednesday.

The Bavarians have a chance to open up a three points gap by defeating RB Leipzig. Bayern Munich currently lead the visitors in the league table only due to a superior goal difference. A win will help in boosting the confidence of either team for the second half of the season.

Carlo Ancelotti’s men have enjoyed a good run of form lately. They had to fight hard for a win against Darnmstadt on Saturday. Bayern Munich have registered four wins in a row in the Bundesliga. They are getting efficient in front of the goal and defending astutely under Ancelotti now.

On the other hand RB Leipzig are enjoying a dream start to the life in Bundesliga. They were promoted to first divison this year for the first time and are now challenging for the title after gameweek 15. Leipzig tasted their first defeat of the season two weeks ago against Hoffenheim.

Team News-

Ancelotti will have all key players except for Jerome Boateng available for this game. The German international has undergone surgery for an injury sustained in chest. Bayern will have Philipp Lahm and Arjen Robben back for this game after recovering from minor knocks.

The other long term absentees for Ancelotti are Julian Green and Kingsley Coman. Franck Ribery got some minutes under his belt against Darmstadt, so he will be in line to start against RB Leipzig. After some rotation against Darmstadt, Ancelotti will field his strongest lineup on Wednesday.
