Lower-bracket Earners

Josip Stanisic (€6.6 million/year): Stanisic is set to play a massive role as the starting left-back with Davies and Ito battling injuries. So far this season, he has been an effective defender for Vincent Kompany's tactics.  His salary is quite below par for a perennial Croatian international and Bayern's regular starter.

Verdict: Fairly underpaid

Nicolas Jackson (€6 million/year on loan): Bayern will be paying the Senegalese striker's salary for the 2025/26 season on loan from Chelsea. However, if Bayern triggers the buying option at the end of the season, this figure will jump to around €14 million/year, leveling some of the top players' earnings. But that will be the story of the future. Right now, we haven't seen what Jackson is about at the Allianz Arena just yet. But only paying a reasonable salary during his loan spell can be viewed as a win for Bayern's depth.

Verdict: Fairly paid

Hiroki Ito (€3.78 million/year): Ito was brought in to provide options for Bayern's backline. He is unfortunately frequently sidelined due to a persistent foot injury. The 26-year-old has shown glimpses of brilliance on the pitch. Now, it is only a matter of whether he can stay injury-free. Ito is on balanced wages for his role in the squad.

Verdict: Fairly paid

Sacha Boey (€3 million/year): The French right-back has been on a more inconsistent side since joining the Bavarian side. He is still a very valuable depth piece on a reasonable salary. It would be a bit harsh to expect Boey to play like an elite fullback with a squad player's wage.

Verdict: Fairly paid

Aleksandar Pavlovic (€1.8 million/year): The German midfield talent is the pride of Bayern Munich's academy. He is an extraordinary at dictating tempo, making him the preferred choice to start if fully fit. Pavlovic should receive an increased salary soon that matches his production on the pitch.

Verdict: Underpaid

Sven Ulreich (€1.5 million/year): Not bad money for a third-choice keeper who does not play much. The 37-year-old is expected to leave when the 2025/26 season comes to a conclusion.

Verdict: Slightly overpaid

Jonas Urbig (€660.000/year): Urbig is paid way below his worth. Although he will spend most of his time on the bench, his talent is undeniable. The young keeper will keep on gathering experience in the following seasons for a long-term project in which he will be starting between the posts. Urbig's contract with Bayern runs until 2029

Verdict: Underpaid

There hasn't been any confirmed data on Tom Bischof and Lennart Karl's salaries for the 2025/26 season. The number is expected to fall around this lower salary bracket.
