Highest Earners

Harry Kane (€25 million/year): The English striker is the club's most well-paid player, and for good reasons. Harry Kane is simply the heart and soul of Bayern's attack, banging goals for fun and simply improving the people around him. He will be 34 when his contract runs out in 2027, but the striker is aging like fine wine.

Verdict: Fairly paid

Manuel Neuer (€21 million/year): Manuel Neuer is likely entering his final year in Bayern colors with his contract expiring at the end of the season. The club's captain and the trustworthy man between the sticks is still earning the second-highest wages at the age of 39. He is still a decent keeper, but it's his legacy and locker room impact that earn him this much money.

Verdict: Slightly overpaid

Joshua Kimmich (€20 million/year): What Harry Kane is to Bayern's attack is exactly what Kimmich is to Bayern's midfield. He is a true midfield maestro and field general who has the ability to create from deep. The German international is also a very vocal leader respected by his peers. The big salary is well justified by his ultra-consistent performance on the pitch and his off-the-pitch presence.

Verdict: Fairly paid

Jamal Musiala (€18.8 million/year): Jamal Musiala is Bayern's most prolific attacking talent in years and one of the biggest young stars in the world. Unfortunately, he suffered a serious injury after cashing in with a top salary, but it is certain that he will bounce back and prove why Bayern gave him this contract. Considering what he has done pre-injury, Musiala is paid in line with what he brings to the club. However, it is also worth mentioning that he has a release clause in his contract.

Verdict: Fairly paid

Serge Gnabry (€18.8 million/year): After the legendary 2019/20 campaign, the winger signed a lucrative four-year extension in 2022. Sadly, "The Chef" could not keep up his top form and struggled to stay on the pitch. Gnabry's deal with Bayern will expire at the end of this season. If both sides want to renew their bonds, Serge Gnabry will have to take a serious pay cut.

Verdict: Overpaid

Alphonso Davies (€15 million/year): After penning his extension, Davies became the highest-paid left-back in world football. Like Musiala, Davies also suffered a serious injury after the contract renewal. With what he had done and could have done in mind, the Canadian fully deserved this compensation. He is integral to Bayern's pressing-intensive system as a high-motor player in both defense and attack. Current injury doubts will be the only factor that may make this deal seem a bit pricy for Bayern Munich.

Verdict: Slightly overpaid

Luis Diaz (€14 million/year): Bayern's marquee summer signing will be the last of the club's top earners for this season. The Colombian star will earn nearly four times the salary he received at Liverpool at the Allianz Arena. So far, there have been a lot of positives around Lucho in his first few matches. While being shaky with his finishing, he is still a massive upgrade on the left-hand side for Bayern Munich. If he can maintain this level of performance, the big bucks can mean great value for Bayern.

Verdict: Fairly paid
