Takeaways from Bayern Munich's 3-0 win over Augsburg

3) Jamal Musiala's performance without a goal or assist
Bayern’s crown jewel may not have scored or assisted in this game, but it certainly was not for the want of trying. In a tough, low tempo game, Musiala had one of his better performances of the season, doing all he could to contribute to another win.
In the game, the 21-year old had ten shots, with six of those being on target. Against a seriously stubborn low block, he was the one forcing the issue the most. He had 82 touches, and created three chances. The midfielder also made four tackles, and won 8/13 ground duels, playing a big part in the immense counter-press.
There is little doubt that Musiala will play worse than that this season and score and/or assist. Just an absolutely incredible player, and let’s hope that contract can be wrapped up as soon as possible.
Shoutouts go to Joshua Kimmich, who played well despite similar burnout (on the pitch) to Kim, Dayot Upamecano who like Kim was very commanding at the back, Alphonso Davies who stopped a few counter attacks, and of course, the hat-trick hero, Harry Kane.
