Michael Olise had a fantastic season with Crystal Palace despite suffering two serious hamstring injuries which allowed him to play only 19 games in the Premier League. In those 19 games (14 starts) for the Eagles, Olise scored an impressive 10 goals and also provided six assists to help his side finish tenth in the table. In the process, he also established himself as one of the top wingers in the EPL and earned a move to Bayern Munich. In the previous season (2022/23), whilst scoring only two goals he managed to provide 11 assists; only Manchester City’s Kevin De Bruyne provided more.

Olise’s cumulative exploits from the previous two seasons were enough to convince Max Eberl and Vincent Kompany to bring the rapidly improving 22-year-old French attacker to the Allianz Arena, ahead of the 2024/25 season. The talented left-footer is now under contract with Bayern Munich for the next five seasons.  Here now is a look at how and why Michael Olise can be a great addition to Rekordmeister’s attack.
