Versatility in the Attack

While Bryan Zaragoza brings a lot of creativity and attacking prowess to his game, he is not a player that is strictly a winger. As mentioned previously, Zaragoza did not come from a formal academy background, so his positional understanding is still very much growing. With only 48 first-team games under his belt for Granada, how and where he can impact the game is still to be decided.

Zaragoza certainly seems to be more at home with the space that is provided to him on the wings, but that has not stopped Granada from using the 22-year old across the attacking line. According to FBref, Zaragoza has played in 48 games so far in his Granada career, and in those 48 games, Zaragoza has appeared positionally in the following spots:

RW- 30
LW- 13
F-8
AM-6

With Zaragoza still learning his craft, Granada seem to be comfortable playing him in multiple positions and areas of the field where he can impact the game. This attacking versatility will serve Zaragoza well as he attempts to find his role in Munich. Additionally, the coaching staff at Bayern will surely love having a player capable of positional flexibility, especially in the final third.
