Value

Bayern Munich is a club that prides itself on being financially secure and responsible. The transfer of Bryan Zaragoza is no exception. With reports that Die Roten exercised the release clause of only around €15 million, they have again found a player with high upside without having to overspend.

In today's transfer market, finding a young player of quality can surely cost a club millions, but that is a game that Bayern Munich does not like to play. Barring the exception of Harry Kane, Die Roten has a history of finding value in players before the market exceeds their price (Alphonso Davies and Joshua Kimmich), or finding a player that is willing to run down their contract (Leon Goretzka and Robert Lewandowski).

Bryan Zaragoza is no different. What Bayern has accomplished in getting his signature wrapped up before others and avoiding a potential bidding war is a classic move and one that will serve the club well in the coming years.
