Jamal Musiala

Jamal Musiala continued his terrific early-season form in the 6-1 demolition of Holstein Kiel. His goal just seconds after the kick-off got Bayern off to a lightning-fast start and he was relentless thereafter. The aforementioned own goal was a direct result of his alert play to intercept the ball in the box followed by some neat dribbling.

In current form, Musiala looks near unstoppable. With the game no longer a contest after the first 45 minutes, it made sense for Kompany not to send him back out for the second half. Musiala’s magic would be in greater demand against the Bundesliga and European heavyweights later on in the season.

Bayern are desperate to sort the new contract for Musiala as he continues to silence the critics by delivering performances on the pitch. The young attacking midfielder is one of the best players in Europe at the age of 21.
