Harry Kane
Ahead of the clash with Real Madrid, the Bavarian faithful can be pleased with the performance of Harry Kane. With Leroy Sane, Serge Gnabry, and Kingsley Coman absent due to injury and Jamal Musiala rested, Kane linked up well with attackers that started on Saturday afternoon to peg the opposition back for most of the game.
Not only did Kane score both of his side’s goals, but he also made the most of his 37 touches. The England international registered four shots on target while completing 90% of the passes he attempted against Frankfurt. Though Kane didn’t have many touches throughout the game, he remained a constant threat in the final third. The 30-year-old forward’s good positioning and clever movement opened up goal-scoring opportunities for other Bayern forwards. It was an excellent performance from Kane. He needs to be in similar goal-scoring form when Real Madrid visit the Allianz Arena on Tuesday.
