Toni Kroos has given his Bundesliga predictions for this season, and the former Real Madrid midfielder believes that Borussia Dortmund will finish ahead of Bayern Munich.

Toni Kroos believes Bayern Munich will only finish third in the Bundesliga this season
The former Bayern Munich and Real Madrid midfielder has predicted that Bayer Leverkusen will retain their Bundesliga title, with Borussia Dortmund finishing in second place. Kroos has been left impressed with BVB's transfer business this summer.
In the latest episode of his podcast Einfach mal Luppen, Kroos said (via Sport1), "My tip is that Dortmund will finish second. About a month and a half ago, I would have said Dortmund would finish fifth if things went well. In my opinion, they have made very poor transfers in the last few seasons. But this summer they've done a sensational job."
Bayern Munich have also had a busy summer transfer window, bringing in the likes of Hiroki Ito, Michael Olise, and João Palhinha. The Bavarians are determined to regain the Bundesliga title after going trophyless for the first time in more than a decade last season.
Bayer Leverkusen and Borussia Dortmund will also hope to compete for the Bundesliga title this season. Both teams began their Bundesliga campaigns with wins last weekend. Xabi Alono's side won the Bundesliga title last season on the back of a stunning unbeaten run, while Borussia Dortmund finished fifth in the standings.
