Nestory Irankunda
The final name on this list is not exactly a player from the academy. However, he is set to be part of the reserves team next season. Nestory Irankunda has already started training with the second after completing a move from Adelaide United. The Bavarian club managed to beat significant competition to sign the youngster.
Irankunda has been a standout player for Adelaide United last season. The youngster has a great eye for goal and has all the trickery in his arsenal to trouble defenders. Irankunda will start the season with the reserves team, but he will train with the first team.
Like Alphonso Davies, Irankunda can break into the first team immediately. It wouldn’t be a surprise if Irankunda is completely integrated into the senior squad by the start of the winter break. His attributes in the final third make him a very dangerous and useful player to have on the bench.
