Three young players to watch out at Bayern Munich in 2024/25

Bayern are making several changes in the defensive department after a disappointing season. They have already signed Hiroki Ito and continue to negotiate with Bayer Leverkusen for Jonathan Tah. Die Roten hope to have four senior central defensive options in the heart of defense for next season.

The fifth center-back spot is expected to be filled by Tarek Buchmann. The young German defender is rated highly at Die Roten. He was set to get game time last season, but several serious injuries effectively wiped off his entire campaign. The 19-year-old defender has been working hard at Sabner Strasse to complete the recovery. He is likely to be included in the squad for the pre-season tour.

After a difficult season with injuries, Buchmann can finally kick off his senior career at Bayern this season. Having a breakout season in defense is difficult, but Buchmann can certainly make progress next season by consistently training with the first team. If he makes 10-15 appearances for Die Roten, it will be a successful first season in the senior team for the teenager.
