The first international break of the season came to an end on Wednesday. Bayern Munich will resume their season with a trip to Holstein Kiel on Saturday. The Bavarian club has made a steady start to the season by winning all their three games across all competitions.

The international break was productive for the majority of Bayern players as they helped their countries clinch crucial victories. Jamal Musiala was Die Roten’s best player during the international break as he shone for Germany. Meanwhile, Harry Kane marked his 100th appearance for England with a brace against Finland.

Bayern will hope that their players continue the good run of form over the next three weeks. It is a crucial period for Die Roten to set the tone in the Bundesliga and Champions League.

Die Roten will play four Bundesliga games and two Champions League group games before the international break in October. Winning these six games convincingly will mean Bayern are somewhat back to their best and look in good shape to challenge for trophies this season.
