Antonio Rudiger vs Harry Kane
Harry Kane has been the best striker in the top five leagues in Europe this season. The English forward has scored 36 goals in the Bundesliga and eight in the Champions League. Kane has been worth every penny Bayern paid for him in the summer.
After missing out on the DFB Pokal and Bundesliga title, the Champions League is the only avenue for Kane this season to win the first major trophy of his career. He stepped up to convert penalties against away at Arsenal in the quarter-final. He also scored from the spot in the first leg against Real Madrid. The Bavarian faithful would like Kane to extend his scoring run at the Santiago Bernabéu.
Kane will come up against Antonio Rudiger when Bayern travel to Madrid. The German defender has been a crucial player for Real Madrid this season. He kept Erling Haaland quiet in the quarter-final. Rudiger is a no-nonsense defender, ready to get into the striker’s head to stop him from scoring. Kane will have to be at his best to influence the game in the final third on Wednesday. If the English striker beats Rudiger, Bayern may score a few goals and seal their spot in the Champions League final. (Stats courtesy: Whoscored)
