Matthijs de Ligt vs Kai Havertz

Bayern Munich's disastrous second-half performance against Heidenheim should lead to Matthijs de Ligt being recalled to the starting XI against Arsenal. The Dutch centre-back certainly has his shortcomings, but remains Bayern's most consistent defender.

Whatever centre-back pairing Thomas Tuchel decides to go with against Arsenal will have to take on Kai Havertz, who has emerged as a legitimate threat in attack for the Gunners.

Havertz is in excellent form at the moment, and has been directly involved in at least one goal in six of Arsenal's last seven games in the English Premier League.

Bayern Munich were interested in signing Havertz last summer, but he decided to join Arsenal. Now, the 24 year old will look to come back and haunt the Bavarians, much like his former club Bayer Leverkusen have this season.
