A number of Bayern Munich players are still in the hunt to win the European Championship, and here we take a look at the ones who will be under the spotlight in the quarterfinals.

Only eight teams remain in the hunt to win Euro 2024, and four blockbuster matches await us in the quarterfinals. Nine Bayern Munich players are still in contention to win the Euros, with five in the Germany squad, two playing for France, and one each in the Netherlands and England squads.

Hosts Germany will face Spain in the quarterfinals, with France set to take on Portugal. On the other side of the bracket, the Netherlands will go up against Türkiye, and England will face Switzerland.

Here are three Bayern Munich players who will be especially eager to make an impact during the Euro 2024 quarterfinals.

Joshua Kimmich

Euro 2024 hosts Germany are set for a mouth-watering quarterfinal clash against Spain and the ever-reliable Joshua Kimmich faces a tough test at right-back as he goes up against in-form winger Nico Williams.

The battle between the Bayern Munich talisman and the Athletic Bilbao star could well play a crucial role in deciding the outcome of the game. And Julian Nagelsmann will need Kimmich to step up once again in this pivotal fixture.

The future of Kimmich has been the subject of plenty of speculation in recent weeks, with reports claiming that Bayern Munich are keen to sell him after nine years at the club. His current contract is set to expire at the end of next season, and it appears that the two parties could part ways after the Euros.

So the 29 year old will no doubt be eager to make a big impact to not only send a message to the Bayern bosses, but also to show interested clubs that he is still more than capable of playing at the top level.
