Bayern Munich rounded off a successful week with an emphatic 5-0 win against Werder Bremen in the Bundesliga. Courtesy of their fourth consecutive win in the Bundesliga, Bayern remain top of the Bundesliga table.

The game against Werder Bremen was the most dominant Bayern have looked this campaign. They didn’t concede a single shot on target and created plenty of opportunities in the final third. Let us look at the key takeaways from yet another positive result on the road for Bayern this season.

Good selection headache for Vincent Kompany in the attack

Bayern Munich are scoring goals for fun this season. They have scored 20 goals across three games in the last seven days. Die Roten have all forwards firing in the final third, giving a good selection headache to Vincent Kompany.

Harry Kane found the back of the net against Werder Bremen, taking his tally to ten goals across all competitions. The English forward also has four assists to his name this season. Kane is on track to have another prolific campaign. He is doing the bulk of the goalscoring but is well supported by other forwards.

Michael Olise, Jamal Musiala, and Serge Gnabry have also chipped in with goals. Olise scored a brace against Werder Bremen, while Musiala and Gnabry were also on the scoresheet. Kingsley Coman has also delivered good performances despite scoring just once this season.

Thomas Muller has been in fine form this campaign, while Leroy Sane returned to action against Dinamo Zagreb and found the back of the net. Matthys Tel is the only forward yet to shine this season, but he will soon get opportunities to show his best on the pitch. Kompany has done well to get all forwards firing, and good squad rotation will help in sustaining this form. The Belgian coach has a good selection headache in the attacking positions, but all forwards will get ample opportunities throughout the campaign.
