Serge Gnabry coy on Bayern Munich future amid interest from Newcastle United

Serge Gnabry does not feel any pressure to leave Bayern Munich, and is leaving his future open amid interest from Newcastle United and other English Premier League clubs.
Bayern Munich are looking to sell several key players this summer to fund their squad overhaul, and Serge Gnabry is one of the names being linked with a move away from the club. Newcastle United are thought to be interest in the winger's signature, and a number of other clubs have also shown interest.
While his future at Bayern Munich is uncertain, Gnabry is relaxed and is only focusing on the upcoming campaign. He does not feel any pressure from the club to look for a transfer, and is confident that he can play a key role in the team this season.
"I find it a bit crazy how wildly speculation is going back and forth, not just with my name, but also with the names of my teammates. Especially as we all still have valid contracts and are still playing football at the highest level," Gnabry told SZ, adding, "I want to get back into shape and perform the way I'm used to. I still have two years left on my contract, there's no pressure."
The 29 year old has two years left on his current contract with Bayern Munich, and will face a tough competition for places following the recent arrival of Michael Olise from Crystal Palace. But Gnabry is not fazed by the competition for places.
"How long have I been here now? Six years. A few other wingers have arrived in that time, and whenever I've been healthy, I've still played. I think I can speak for everyone who is supposedly being questioned right now: Our last few years haven't been that bad."
Serge Gnabry has made a total of 238 appearances for Bayern Munich, and has 86 goals and 52 assists to his name.
