PSV Eindhoven make Malik Tillman move permanent but Bayern Munich secure buy-back option

PSV Eindhoven have decided to turn Malik Tillman's loan move in the permanent one, but Bayern Munich have secure both a buy-back option and matching right for the USMNT international.

On the back of an impressive loan spell, Malik Tillman has completed a permanent move to PSV Eindhoven. The talented attacking midfielder has signed a contract until 2028 with the newly crowned Dutch champions. Bayern Munich will receive a transfer fee in the region of 12.5 million euros.

But the Bavarians are planning to keep tabs on Tillman's progress in the coming months and years. According to Sky Sport, Bayern have secured both a buy-back option and a matching right for the 21 year old. This will ensure that Bayern will be in a strong position to bring Tillman back to the club if he continues his impressive development at PSV Eindhoven.

Tillman has enjoyied an excellent season in the Netherlands, and has nine goals and 15 assists to his name in 38 appearances across all competitions. Having led PSV Eindhoven to the Eredivisie title this season, Tillman is now keen to continue his development under former Borussia Dortmund and Bayer Leverkusen head coach Peter Bosz. He said, "The first season has been great and I hope we will continue to win many trophies in the coming years. I am confident that I am in the right place here and that I can develop into an even better footballer here.”

Malik Tillman joined Bayern Munich in 2015 and rose through the club's youth team ranks before making his first-team debut in 2021.
