Werder Bremen vs Bayern Munich: Expected starting XI

GK: Manuel Neuer - Despite suffering an injury scare on Tuesday, there is hope that Bayern's first-choice goalkeeper Neuer will be able to play from the start this weekend.

RB: Raphael Guerreiro - Kompany's preference to play Joshua Kimmich in midfield could prompt him to go with Guerreiro at right-back once again on Saturday. The Portuguese international has made a strong start to the season and will hope to keep that run going in Bremen.

CB: Dayot Upamecano - It will be interesting to see if there are any changes to Bayern's center-back duo, but the likelihood remains that Upamecano will keep his place in the starting XI.

CB: Kim Min-jae - Despite Bayern's goalscoring prowess, defense remains an area of concern. Both Min-jae and Upamecano will hope to work on changing that, starting with the trip to Bremen.

LB: Alphonso Davies - With Guerreiro potentially needed at right-back, Davies could start on the opposite flank on Saturday. The Canadian international showed glimpses of his quality against Dinamo Zagreb.
