DM: Aleksandar Pavlović - There has been a lot of clamor for João Palhinha to be integrated into the starting XI, and whilst there would be nothing overly wrong with that, it feels clear that Kompany likes and trusts Pavlović, and with one game left before the break, it is hard to see his mind being changed here.

CM: Joshua Kimmich - Whilst the bar was low, Kimmich was easily Bayern's best player against Villa. He has quite possibly been Bayern's best player all season, going up another level since Kompany immediately brought him back into the midfield. No brainer, this one.

AM: Michael Olise - Just like on Wednesday, we can expect to see Olise in the number ten role in the absence of Musiala. The Frenchman went so close to a goal against Villa, with his curling effort being tipped over by Emi Martinez. This one feels straightforward.
