Bayern Munich vs Bayer Leverkusen: Expected starting XI

GK: Manuel Neuer- After missing the game against Werder Bremen, Manuel Neuer returned to training on Thursday. The 38-year-old shot-stopper should be fit to start against Bayer Leverkusen.

RB: Konrad Laimer- Raphael Guerreiro has done well in the right-back spot, but Kompany may prefer a more natural right-footed defender against Bayer Leverkusen. Konrad Laimer looked solid against Werder Bremen last weekend. The Austrian is likely to start in this role against Xabi Alonso’s team.

CB: Dayot Upamecano- Kompany is unlikely to make significant changes in central defense since there was no mid-week game. Dayot Upamecano is expected to be the right-sided center-back for the hosts on Saturday.

CB: Kim Min-jae- Bayern conceded zero shots on target against Werder Bremen. Kim Min-jae will look to emulate a similar performance against Bayer Leverkusen. The South Korean defender looks back to his best after enduring a tough second half of last season.

LB: Alphonso Davies- After delivering two good performances last week, Alphonso Davies is likely to get the nod for the left-back spot. The Canadian defender will look to pass a tough test with flying colours.
