Jamal Musiala is relishing the prospect of going up against his good friend Jude Bellingham in the Champions League semifinals.

Bayern Munich and Real Madrid are set to battle it out for a spot in the final of the UEFA Champions League. And Jamal Musiala is looking forward to facing his good friend Jude Bellingham. The Germany international has admitted that they used to dream about playing in big matches like this when playing together for the England youth teams.

In an interview with Marca, Musiala said, "I'm really looking forward to those two matches. Jude and I have always dreamed of playing in matches like these since we were kids."

Bellingham and Musiala are two of the most talented young midfielders in the world at the moment. And off the pitch, they also share a great friendship. Musiala is not surprised at all by Bellingham's incredible first season at Real Madrid, and has hailed the England international's mentality.

"I think Jude has always had a great mentality as a player. He is very confident in himself and doesn't shy away from big challenges, so I am not surprised to see him playing like this in Madrid."

Bayern Munich are no strangers to Jude Bellingham's quality, having already faced him when he was at Borussia Dortmund. Stopping him in his tracks will certainly be crucial to Bayern's hopes in what should be a tightly contested Champions League semifinal. The 20 year old has been one of Real Madrid's top performers since joining them on a big money fee last summer. And he continued his excellent run of form this past weekend by scoring the winning goal for his side against arch-rivals FC Barcelona.
