Inter Milan want 60 million euros for Bayern Munich target

Inter Milan have reportedly set a mammoth asking price of 60 million euros for key midfielder Hakan Çalhanoğlu, who is wanted by Bayern Munich.
Hakan Çalhanoğlu has emerged as a potential target for Bayern Munich in recent days, with the Bavarians looking at alternatives for João Palhinha amid frustrating negotiations with Fulham. Signing the Turkish international may prove to be a complicated matter in its own right for Bayern, though, with Inter Milan seeking a transfer fee of around 60 million euros.
This is being reported by Milan-based newspaper Corriere della Sera, who add that Inter have yet to receive an offer or inquiry from Bayern Munich.
Çalhanoğlu is considered to be a vital part of Simone Inzaghi’s side, and played a crucial role in their Italian Serie A title win this season.
Despite his importance to Inter, Çalhanoğlu is said to be tempted by the prospect of returning to the Bundesliga with Bayern Munich. The midfielder was born in Germany and made his first-team breakthrough at Karlsruher SC, before also enjoying spells at Hamburger SV and Bayer Leverkusen as a talented attacking midfielder.
The 30 year old has since established himself as an excellent defensive midfielder at Inter Milan, combining his versatile passing range and playmaking ability with solid defending and organizational skills on the pitch.
Hakan Çalhanoğlu’s performances have certainly caught the eye of Bayern Munich. However, Inter Milan’s asking price of 60 million euros may well put him out of Bayern’s price range amid the club’s squad overhaul.
