Leon Goretzka
Last season was tough for Leon Goretzka. His lack of form last season led to him bitterly missing out on a place in the German squad for the Euros. The 29-year-old will be looking to use this disappointment as a motivation to come back strongly next season.
In the win against Rottach-Egern this week, fans pointed out that Sven Ulreich was given the armband rather than Goretzka. The Bayern number eight has been told he is free to leave the club this summer, but the player himself wants to stay and believes, from experience, that he will eventually get his playing time.
