Bayern Munich want to sign Jonathan Tah even after Hiroki Ito arrival

Bayern Munich have bolstered their defense with the signing of Hiroki Ito from Stuttgart, but still want to bring in another center-back in Jonathan Tah.
After conceding 45 goals in the Bundesliga this season, bolstering the defense seems to be Bayern Munich's top priority for the summer transfer window. The Bavarians completed the signing of Hiroki Ito on Thursday, with the 25 year old arriving from VfB Stuttgart on a four year contract.
The arrival of Ito means that Bayern now have five center-backs in their first-team ranks. But according to Sky Sport, they are not done bringing in defensive reinforcements yet. Bayern are keen to sign Jonathan Tah, having already reached an agreement on personal terms with the Germany international.
Bayer Leverkusen are holding out for a fee in the region of 40-45 million euros, while Bayern Munich only want to pay 20-25 million euros for a player who will be out of contract in 12 months. Tah is keen to make the switch to Bayern, having played a vital role in Leverkusen's historic Bundesliga title win this season.
If Tah joins Ito in the new-look Bayern defense, Max Eberl and co. will look to sell two central defenders this summer. Eric Dier and Kim Min-jae are said to be part of Bayern's plans for next season, but Dayot Upamecano and Matthijs de Ligt could leave the club.
Upamecano is said to be open to a new challenge, and de Ligt is attracting the interest of Manchester United. Both center-backs could be playing in the English Premier League next season.
