Leroy Sane

The big games in the Champions League have been high-scoring this season. The attacking players have to be on the money to impact games. For Bayern, Leroy Sane has been the standout performer in the knockout rounds this season. The Bavarian club is managing the workload of Sane due to an injury to the pubic bone.

Despite enduring a difficult Ruckrunde, Sane was exceptional against Arsenal. His mazy run from half line during the first leg helped Die Roten to win the penalty. He was a constant menace against Arsenal’s defense across two games.

Real Madrid defended resolutely against Manchester City in the second leg of the quarter-finals. A maverick winger like Sane can certainly trouble them with his dribbling and pace. With Kingsley Coman ruled out for the rest of the season, Bayern must have Sane in the starting XI.

Thomas Tuchel and the Bavarian faithful will be praying that Sane passes the fitness test and starts against Real Madrid in a jam-packed Allianz Arena.
